XCMG XE60GA 6-Tonne Excavator: Specs, Configurations & Quote Price
What the 6-tonne XE60GA can do, the options that move the delivered price, and the inspection evidence a used unit should come with.

The XCMG XE60GA is a 6-tonne-class crawler excavator. XCMG’s published operating weight is 6,050 kg, the standard bucket is 0.25 m³, and maximum digging depth is 3,830 mm. The machine is sized for municipal maintenance, landscaping, utility trenching and light site preparation, not for mass excavation. A buyer evaluating it needs to separate three things: the work the machine can actually do, the options that move the delivered price, and the evidence an inspection should provide.
Where the 6-tonne class fits
The XE60GA uses a 3,000 mm boom and a 1,600 mm arm. Maximum digging height is 5,630 mm, maximum dumping height is 3,945 mm, maximum reach is 6,130 mm, and minimum swing radius is 2,460 mm. The tail swing radius is about 2,890 mm according to dealer listings, a figure that decides whether the machine can turn inside a walled site or along a traffic lane without blocking it.
The standard dozer blade lifts 390 mm and cuts 560 mm, so backfilling and leveling do not require a second machine. Gradeability is 35° and ground pressure is 32.5 kPa on 400 mm shoes. Those numbers suit firm ground and normal loading ramps. On soft or waterlogged ground, wider track shoes are needed; otherwise ground pressure limits where the machine can travel.

XCMG’s Chinese product page and several dealer listings do not agree on every figure. Dealer pages show a 110 L fuel tank, 5,860 × 1,920 × 2,585 mm dimensions and a 0.23 m³ bucket, while the XCMG page lists 130 L, 6,010 × 2,040 × 2,650 mm and 0.25 m³. The differences reflect production batches, market-specific configurations and measuring conventions.
For a purchase, the serial plate and the technical agreement tied to the serial number are the reference. A quotation should also state the engine emission stage. The same model name can be supplied with different engine calibration for different markets, and the model name alone does not establish whether the unit can be registered or cleared at destination.
Configurations that change the quote
Bucket capacity ranges from 0.07 to 0.30 m³. The right choice follows material density and cycle time, not the largest number in the brochure. A 0.30 m³ bucket moves light soil faster; in clay or material with stone content it raises digging resistance and puts more demand on stability and fuel.
Attachment planning changes the hydraulic specification. A machine intended for a breaker needs the correct auxiliary piping, return line and flow match. Listing a breaker on the quotation without that package often leaves the buyer with a hammer that cannot be connected on arrival. Quick couplers, rubber track pads, wider shoes and alternative bucket shapes affect both price and lead time.
The cab includes a 7-inch touchscreen, keyless start, automatic air conditioning and Bluetooth audio. Those items improve the working day but do not change lifting or digging performance, and they are part of what the quoted price reflects.
Inspecting a used XE60GA
Used units differ mainly in condition, not model year. A six-stage inspection should cover the serial number and hour meter, a cold start and fault-code scan, hydraulic pressure and cycle times, undercarriage wear, cracks or repaired welds on the boom and main frame, and a loaded test of travel, swing, digging and lifting.
Hydraulic checks can use the 152 L/min main pump flow and 24.5 MPa main relief pressure as references. What matters is pressure holding under load and leaks at cylinders, hoses and seals. Undercarriage checks measure track shoe height, link wear, and play at rollers, idlers and sprockets; the standard shoe is 400 mm wide, and wear beyond limit affects travel and steering. Structural checks look for cracks and repair welds on the boom, arm and main frame. Before a deposit, 40 to 60 photos and a 2 to 3 minute walkaround video give more evidence than a description.
SHUNFA Machinery applies this six-stage inspection to every export unit and can arrange SGS or equivalent third-party inspection, usually within 3 to 5 working days. We also provide a one-year warranty on three major components and assistance with customs documents. These services do not change a machine’s age or condition; they make the condition visible before payment.
What a complete quote request contains
A complete request should state new or used, year, serial number, hour meter reading, engine emission documents, bucket and attachment list, destination port, Incoterm, certification required in the destination market (CE, EPA or other) and budget range. The reply should itemize what is included, what is excluded, which documents will be issued, and the expected loading and transit time.
New-machine pricing comes from an authorized dealer and depends on configuration and emission version. Used pricing depends on condition, year and attachments. When one offer is far below others, check hours, undercarriage wear and hydraulic condition before treating the price as an advantage. We can search the used market for comparable XE60GA units, supply inspection reports and quote delivered to the destination port. The final figure follows the actual machine, the port and the configuration.
Send the destination port and required configuration to the SHUNFA export team. Phone and WhatsApp: +86 13764468035. Email: shunfa@usedexcavator.shop. We reply within 24 hours.
