XCMG XE500GK 50-Tonne Excavator: Specs, Configurations & Quote Price
Published specifications, configuration gaps between listings and the five inputs an exporter needs before the price of a 50-tonne excavator can be compared.

The XCMG XE500GK is a 49.7-tonne crawler excavator built for quarry stripping, mass earthworks and stone loading. XCMG publishes a 2.8 m³ standard bucket, a 343 kW engine rating and a 283 kN bucket digging force for the model. Those three figures explain most of its commercial position: it carries 50-tonne-class digging forces with a power unit normally associated with larger mining machines. Buyers comparing quotes should look past the headline tonnage and check the configuration behind each number.

What the numbers mean on site
The Cummins X12 produces 2,170 N·m at 1,400 rpm, well below the 2,100 rpm rated speed. Low-end torque matters in a loading cycle, because the hydraulic pumps can draw full power without the engine hunting at the top of its range. XCMG pairs the engine with two electronically controlled Kawasaki main pumps rated at 360 L/min each. Flow capacity of this size supports a 2.8–3.2 m³ bucket in loose material and leaves headroom for a hydraulic breaker or shear on suitable circuits.
The 11,510 mm maximum digging radius and 7,565 mm digging depth put the machine in the right size class for 30–40 tonne articulated dump truck loading and for bench work in quarries. Ground pressure of 85 kPa on 600 mm shoes is a practical constraint: soft, wet ground needs a wider shoe or a different undercarriage, and that choice affects both stability and the final quotation.
Transport planning belongs in the same discussion. At 3,574 mm overall width and roughly 49.7 tonnes, the machine moves as a heavy, wide load. Road permits, low-bed trailer selection and port handling costs are part of delivered cost, not an afterthought.
Configurations that change the price
Two XE500GK units can carry the same model plate and differ by tens of thousands of dollars in content. The bucket is the first variable: a 2.8 m³ general-purpose bucket and a 3.2 m³ reinforced rock bucket suit different materials and duty cycles. Boom and arm lengths, track shoe width, guard packages and counterweight options follow the same logic.
Emission configuration is the second variable. The domestic Chinese version is built to China IV, while export units are configured to the destination market’s requirements. A buyer should confirm the emission standard in the offer rather than assume it from the model name. Attachment readiness is the third: breaker piping, a quick coupler circuit, or a rotation circuit for a shear changes the hydraulic layout and the price. Cab options such as a 360-degree camera system and additional lighting are smaller line items but still appear on the specification sheet.
How a quote is actually built
XCMG does not publish a single global list price for the XE500GK. A quote is assembled from the base machine, the selected configuration, compliance documents, inspection, inland transport, ocean freight and insurance, port charges, and any spare parts or service package. Public references help set expectations. New-unit listings on international B2B platforms have appeared around USD 152,000–155,500 FOB China, and dealer listings in Russia have shown roughly RUB 30–34 million including local taxes. In China’s used market, a 2023 XE500GK with about 2,100 hours has been listed near RMB 750,000. These are reference points from public listings, not offers, and they move with configuration, market and freight.
A meaningful quote therefore needs five inputs: destination port, quantity, new or used, bucket and attachment plan, and required emission standard. With those details, an exporter can price the machine and the logistics separately, which makes the total comparable across suppliers.
New or used, and why inspection decides
A new XE500GK suits buyers who need a known service history from hour one and can absorb the higher capital cost. A used unit changes the calculation, and the condition of the undercarriage, hydraulic pumps and structure matters more than the model’s published specifications. A 2023 machine with 2,100 hours and a 2023 machine with 2,100 hours on a quarry face are not the same asset.
Our inspection process covers six stages before shipment: identity and service history, engine and drivetrain, hydraulics under load, undercarriage and structure, function and load testing, and documents and loading. Buyers receive an inspection report with 40–60 photographs and a 2–3 minute walkaround video before deposit. Third-party inspection through SGS or an equivalent body can be arranged when the buyer requires it.
The XE500GK is a capable 50-tonne platform, and its price is a function of configuration and condition rather than a single number. Send the destination port, the working application and the required emission standard, and our export team will return matching units with specifications, photographs and a cost breakdown within 24 hours.
Contact us for a quote
Contact our export desk for a quote by phone or WhatsApp at +86 137 6446 8035, or by email at shunfa@usedexcavator.shop. Include the destination port, the working application, the preferred bucket and attachment setup, and the emission standard required by the import market. Each reply states the machine configuration, the inspection status where a used unit is offered, and the freight estimate as a separate line, so the equipment price and the delivered cost can be compared directly with other suppliers.
