XCMG XE370GK: 37.5-Tonne Excavator Specifications and Quote Price
Confirmed XE370GK parameters, how the GK differs from the export XE370G, and the condition and configuration details that set a used unit price.

The XCMG XE370GK is a 37.5-tonne crawler excavator from the G series, built for quarry work, bulk earthmoving, road and bridge projects, and general heavy construction. Buyers comparing overseas listings often find the same numbers copied between the XE370GK and the export-market XE370G. They are related machines, but they are not the same specification. The figures below separate what XCMG publishes for the GK from what belongs to the G, then set out the details that change a real quotation.
Confirmed XE370GK parameters
| Item | Published figure |
|---|---|
| Operating weight | 37,500 kg |
| Bucket capacity | 1.7–1.9 m³ |
| Engine | Isuzu 6HK1, 6-cylinder, 7.79 L |
| Rated power | 210 kW at 1,900 rpm |
| Bucket digging force | 223 kN |
| Maximum digging radius | 11,143 mm |
| Emission configuration | China IV, no urea injection required |
Four of these numbers carry most of the buying decision. The 37,500 kg operating weight places the machine in the 37-tonne class, which sets the transport method, the trailer or lowbed rating, and the ground-bearing check on site. The 1.7–1.9 m³ bucket range covers general excavation and denser material, with the final size matched to soil type and cycle target. The 223 kN bucket digging force is the relevant figure in compacted ground and broken rock; it is lower than the export G rating, so a buyer should not assume the two machines dig alike. The 11,143 mm maximum digging radius defines how far the machine can place spoil without repositioning, which matters in trenching and basement work.
The engine rating is also worth reading closely. The 6HK1 produces 210 kW at 1,900 rpm in this configuration, a lower rated speed than the 212 kW at 2,000 rpm used in the XE370G. XCMG specifies the China IV package without urea injection, which simplifies fluid logistics on sites where DEF supply is unreliable. Emission acceptance is a separate issue from mechanical condition, and it should be checked against the destination market before any deposit.
XE370GK and XE370G are different configurations
The export XE370G sheet lists 36,860 kg operating weight, a 1.8 m³ bucket, 212 kW at 2,000 rpm, 6,850 mm maximum digging depth, 10,600 mm maximum digging radius, 10,060 mm maximum digging height, and 6,960 mm maximum dumping height. Those are legitimate XE370G figures. They are frequently pasted into XE370GK listings, where they do not apply.
The gap comes from the emission package, cooling group, counterweight and hydraulic calibration, not from a different structural class. For a buyer, the practical rule is simple: read the serial plate, the engine label and the boom and arm stamping on the actual unit. A quotation built on a brochure from the wrong variant will be wrong on transport weight, on bucket match and on the duty the machine can take.
Features that affect daily output
The GK carries XCMG’s PIC feed-forward control, which adjusts the hydraulic response ahead of load change rather than after it. In repeated digging cycles this reduces the hesitation that costs fuel and fills the bucket short. The undercarriage uses a reinforced track chain with taller links and larger bolts, a change aimed at gravel and broken-ground work where standard chains wear at the pin and bush.
XCMG states that the main structural components were designed against load spectra from severe duty and validated on a vibration track and a 6,000-hour road test. The cooling package uses a parallel radiator layout with 10% more capacity and a larger fan, with water and oil temperature performance improved by more than 5%. For machines working in high ambient temperatures, cooling margin is a maintenance cost issue as much as a performance one.
The cab is a one-piece stamped steel structure with keyless start, an integrated control panel, a standard rear camera with a 128-degree field of view, and high-output LED work lights. These items do not change digging force, but they affect operator fatigue and night-shift safety, which show up in daily production.
What drives the price of a used XE370GK
A used 37-tonne excavator is priced on condition and configuration, not on the model name. The main variables are year and hour meter reading, undercarriage wear measured at the track link height and roller play, main pump pressure against the OEM specification, engine blow-by and injector feedback, structural cracks or repaired welds at the boom foot and main frame, and the bucket and attachment package supplied with the unit.
Emission configuration belongs on that list as well. A China IV machine may suit one market and fail another. The safe sequence is to confirm import rules first, then inspect the unit, then negotiate. Our six-stage inspection covers identity and service history, engine and drivetrain, hydraulics under load, undercarriage and structure, function and load testing, and documents and loading. Clients receive the inspection report, 40 to 60 photographs and a two to three minute walkaround video before paying a deposit. Third-party inspection through SGS or an equivalent body can be arranged on request.
Shipping and documentation
A 37.5-tonne excavator normally moves by break bulk or flat rack rather than a standard container. The final method depends on the actual dimensions with the boom and arm configured for transport, the port pair, and the buyer’s unloading capacity. We handle booking, loading photographs, container or vessel seal numbers, the bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and provide import clearance guidance where applicable.
